Description
The model AVT104P/AVT108P video transceiver is passive (non-amplified) device that allows the transmission of real-time monochrome (B/W) or color video via Unshielded Twisted-Pair(UTP) cable. Baseband (composite) signals of any type are supported.
The AVT104P/AVT108P can be used as both transmitter and receiver. As transmitter, the unit receives four / eight channels video from cameras as well as sends out four/eight channels video signals ,While as receiver, the unit receives four/eight channels video signal from transmitters as will as provides four/eight BNC video outputs. With working with passive transceivers (e.g.UTP101P UTP104P) and active transmitters (e.g.UTP101AT) UTP104P allow signals transmission up to 300m and 600m respectively.
The unparalleled interference rejection and low emissions of the UTP104P/UTP108P allow video signals to co-exist in the same wire bundle as telephone, datacom, or low-voltage power circuits. This allows the use of a shared or existing cable plant.
